Fresh back from its first world tour, the D&L Whisky Glass has tantalised the tastebuds of international markets and whisky-lovers the world over, with a number of new global distribution deals, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Andorra and the United States, now totalling 23 dealers worldwide with the latest being Harrods of London.
Headed up by designers Denver Cramer & Liely Faulkner, the D&L Whisky Glass world tour brought its unique brand of whisky drinking and whisky cocktails amazing places far and wide including the ancient city of Yangon, the windswept west coast of Scotland, pumping glitzy financial district of Singapore, the back street bohemian bars of Berlin and basement speakeasies of New York City. Be it design, ideas or adventure, Denver and Liely never stop exploring.
Showcasing the D&L Whisky Glass to the world allowed punters to explore the depths of our favourite drop - whisky. Many whisky fans and professionals alike have now got their very own glass. They include world ambassador for Balvenie, Gemma Paterson, whisky writer, Dave Broom, world ambassador for Diageo Malts, Colin Dunn, Balvenie master blender, David Stewart, Dewars master blender, Stephanie MacLeod, Kavalan master blender Ian Chang, Paul John master blender, Michael John D’Souza and head distiller for Bowmore, David Turner, just to name a few.
“It has been quite the year for us. We’re absolutely humbled by the response. It just shows how many truly love functional design...not forgetting the love for whisky!”
